I had an excellent trip. I’m sitting here now after supper in my wonderful study. I was a little sorry last night that my plans, which had been worked out in much detail, were thwarted; however, during the journey, I came to the conclusion that I could not have had a better introduction to my exam revision than a thorough study of Christiansen’s book. I am looking forward to it very much. Tell Pa that I am so glad to have been allowed to help him a little and that I have enjoyed it so much. Tell Ma that I was so happy, and ashamed, to see how splendidly my clothes were packed and how meticulously she had remembered everything. Finally, tell Jenny that her figs taste splendid.
