The family thanks you very much for your card. I am to bring 1000 greetings from Pa, Ma, and Jenny and say from the former, that he will write to you in the next few days. – I am presently off to Chemistry tuition. – As you may have seen in Fyens Stiftstidende, 20 Social Democrats, 16 Conservatives, 5 Social Liberals, and 1 member of the Inner Mission, have been elected. (Pastor Sørensen will not be able to say that “the clergy will damned well win”). So goodbye for today. I will soon write a proper letter, with a proper pen and not one of Ma’s awful pointy ones.
