|Dear Harald.

You must not be alarmed to receive all of 3 cards at once, I promise not to engage in such “wickedness” again, but when I saw to my horror that my other card to you only contained “nonsense”, I thought that I should also tell a little of my situation over here at the vicarage. In every way, I feel grand, eating and sleeping, to Mother's reassurance (sorry for my nonsense, I meant my own) an awful lot; but am also achieving not a little: I am now finished with I.P’s Dynamics and have read most of what is written in Abraham on vector calculation (very interesting) and am also started with Christiansen's manuscript; it amuses me greatly that the dynamic introduction contains many interesting things, but does not even make the faintest attempt to address the requirements which you (and indeed I myself) would demand for a properly grounded kinematics.

The many good wishes which I send to everyone in this and the other card should be symbolically multiplied, so that they end up in “the power of 2”.

Yours
Niels

| Ask Moder to write about whether Edgar has arranged the riding lessons as I will, in that event, write a postcard to thank him.
