Many thanks for your detailed letter and for the thesis. I have studied both thoroughly. Granted that the thesis was not entirely new to me, it gives me great pleasure every time I read that beautiful proof. I am still very well here. I have now also read Thermodynamics (I’m now frightfully good at the Phase rule, Dissociation and all the rest of the rest of the physics-chemistry rulebook), so now I think I will read all literature before I start my exam. It’s lovely and warm here these days just like mid summer. I’ll be leaving here in a week and I shall start on the big assignment. I am very excited to see how it will turn out.
